(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) released their weekly Players of the Week for Volleyball and Concordia Cardinals McKenzie Peters earned honors as the WHAC's Defender of the Week. 

Peters, a senior from Monroe, Michigan, once again was the backline anchor for the Cardinal's defense in CUAA's two games last week. Through the nine sets she played in Peters collected 67 digs for a 7.44 dig per set average, which was top in the WHAC this past week. 

This is the second time this season Peters has taken home honors this season, last winning on September 11, and the third time in her career.

The Cardinals are back on the court on Wednesday when they play host to #RV Madonna with first serve at 7 PM.
