McKenzie Peters takes home third WHAC Player of the Week honor this season

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) released the Player of the Week on Monday afternoon and the Concordia Cardinals saw McKenzie Peters earn honors from the conference as she would take home WHAC Defender of the Week. 

 

Peters, a senior from Monroe, Michigan, helped the team on the defensive end last week as they went 2-1 with wins over Lourdes and Northwestern Ohio. Peters recorded 68 digs on the week to average 5.67 per set. She also recorded 69 receptions with only two errors. 

 

This is the third time she has won WHAC Defender of the Week as well as the fourth time in her career. 

 

The Cardinals are back on the court on Wednesday, October 18 when they take on the Wolverines from Michigan-Dearborn at home with a 7 PM start.
