(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia Dance Team (CDT) kicked off their season with a home competition this Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Invite 1. The young team, featuring all sophomores and freshmen faced tough competition and finished the competition in fourth place.
The Cardinals received a raw total of 155.4 which averaged out to a 51.8 subtotal. Concordia received six points of deductions, with five coming from not having enough dancers competing, which gave CDT a final score of 45.8.
Saint Francis (IL) won the event with a score of 70.37 and Point Park took second with 62.3. Conference foe Lawrence Tech came in third at 51.8 points.
The Concordia Dance Team will be back in action on Saturday, January 29th, when they compete at the Marian Invite in Indianapolis.
