(RV) Cornerstone takes down Women's Tennis

(Ann Arbor, MI) Concordia Women's Tennis hosted Cornerstone for a WHAC matchup Saturday evening. The Golden Eagles, who are receiving voted in the NAIA, swept the Cardinals 7-0 in the match.

 

 

Elle Fritcha and Hollie Johnson played #1 doubles for the Cardinals, and were able to take two games from Cornerstone. Fritcha played in #1 singles, while Johnson played #2 Singles for Concordia. Both were swept in their singles matches.

 

Payton Woodruff and Amelia Black played in #2 doubles as well as #4 and #6 singles respectively. Black was able to win a game in her #6 singles match. Jadyn Hackmann and Jorja Vartoogian competed in #3 doubles for the Cards along with #3 and # 5 singles. Hackmann took a pair of games in singles, while Vartoogian took a game as well.

 

 

The Cardinals will next be in action on Saturday, March 4th with matches against Manchester and Olivet. The matches will take place at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM in Battle Creek, Michigan.
