(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the Players of the Week for April 8-April 14 and Concordia Cardinals Sam Saje was honored as the Defensive Player of the Week. 

Saje, a senior from Macomb, Michigan, had another great week in the faceoff circle for the Cardinals, winning 77.5% of his faceoffs and going 31-40 and picking up 27 ground balls. In addition, Saje tacked on a goal and a pair of assists in the Cardinal's 2-0 week as they would clinch the WHAC regular season title for the second straight year. 

This is the fifth time Saje has earned WHAC Player of the Week, winning three times last season and then once in 2021. 

The Men's Lacrosse team is back in action on Saturday, April 20 as they close out the regular season against Taylor University at 4 PM.
