Women's Bowling see's third place finish at WHAC Jamboree

(Toledo, OH) - The Cardinal Women's Bowling team headed back to the lanes this weekend as they would compete at the fourth and final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Jamboree of the season. The final Jamboree will be held at the Miracle Lanes in Toledo, Ohio. The team as a whole would knock down 6,278 pins while they would ultimately finish in 3rd place. 

 


CARDINALS RESULTS

Four Cardinals would take home top-10 finishes as Gabriella VanHorn (3rd), Emilee Hughes (5th), Alyvia Hock (7th), and Brooke Binder (9th) would all pace CUAA going into the baker games. VanHorn knocked down 765 total pins, Hughes would hit 754 pins, Hock a total of 735 pins, and Binder hit 731. 

 

Three Cardinals would bowl the final four games as Isabell Cooley went two games with a score of 316 and an average of 158. Amanda Fisher and Kyla Peterson would each take one game as Fisher hit 157 and Peterson 151. 

 


TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL WINNER

Taylor McBride from Lourdes took home the individual championship at the final WHAC Jamboree of the season, winning by over 100 pins with a score of 881. 

 

Taking home the team championship was Lourdes with a score of 6,511 pins over second place Lawrence Tech by 203 pins. 

 


UP NEXT

The team will next head to the Jax 60 in Jackson, Michigan on February 11, as they will compete at the Scotty Classic.
