Gabriel Farr enters his sixth season on the Cardinals coaching staff. Coach Farr works with the Cardinals hitters and as the team’s strength and conditioning coordinator. In his first season, Coach Farr helped the offense amass a combined .306 batting average, .439 slugging percentage, and a .407 slugging percentage. He was also able to assist in a prominent post-season run that saw the Cardinals clinch their first National Collegiate Christian Athletic Association World Series appearance in school history.

Farr is an alumnus of Concordia University Ann Arbor. He played under Coach Johnston for his final two years during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. During those two seasons, Coach Farr helped the Cardinals set new standards. In 2016, the Cardinals set numerous school records including the most wins in a season (31) in school history. In 2017, Farr and the Cardinals rewrote all those records once again as they went 42-13 that season. During Coach Farr’s two years as a player, the Cardinals went 73-37. In Coach Farr’s first season on staff (2018), the Cardinals went 34-22. Collectively between his three seasons with the program, Coach Farr has an overall record of 107-59 and is a part of the three highest win totals in school history.

Along with his Assistant Coach duties Coach Farr simultaneously works as a Court Service Liaison for Washtenaw County.

Farr graduated with a B.S. in Justice & Public Policy and Psychology in 2017. He was named to the All-Conference Scholar Athlete team his senior year. Currently Coach Farr is pursuing a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in Counseling.
