Shanitra Cheff

Shanitra Cheff enters her seventh year as Head Assistant Cheer and Stunt Coach at Concordia.

 

In addition to her role as Head Assistant Coach, Cheff also serves as the Director of Multicultural Engagement at CUAA.

 

Cheff started her career as a coach in 2009 retiring from pre-collegiate coaching in 2019. Cheff was a member of the Detroit Pistons Cheerleaders from 2011 to 2014 where she performed with the most elite cheerleaders and entertainers in the NBA.

  

Shanitra received a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development and Administration. She will graduate May 2023 with a M.Ed. degree with an inclusion concentration emphasizing inclusive school programs and classroom practices. 

 

During her tenure with Concordia Cheff has coached the Cardinals through 4 Conference Championship wins, 1 Regional Qualifier Championship and the Cardinals 2019 NAIA National Championship. 

 

Shanitra lives with her husband, Louie, two children Reagan and Jackson in White Lake, Michigan.
