Cardinals have 20 Teams named as NAIA Scholar Teams

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the Scholar Teams for the 2023-24 academic year on their NAIA National Awards Day on Monday. The day recognizes the association's highest individual honors and achievements of NAIA student-athletes, administrators, and coaches.

The qualifications for earning the NAIA Scholar Team award are having at least a collective 3.0 grade point average of all members who competed during the 2023-24 academic year.

The Cardinals saw 20 teams named as honorees on Monday.

Women's Basketball - 3.62

Women's Golf - 3.62

Men's Cross Country - 3.59

Softball - 3.50

Volleyball - 3.49

Women's Bowling - 3.47

Competitive Dance - 3.45

Men's Golf - 3.39

Women's Cross Country - 3.37

Women's Tennis - 3.34

Women's Indoor Track & Field - 3.30
