(Ann Arbor, MI) For the third consecutive year, Concordia University Ann Arbor Esports will participate in Extra Life's official "Day of Play." The purpose of this event is for participants to stream themselves playing games with the intent of raising money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. In this case, the nearest hospital in that network in relation to Concordia is Beaumont Children's Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, which will receive 100% of the proceeds. Last year, Concordia Esports raised over $2,000 for the program.

Members of the Esports program will be streaming various games starting at 6:00pm this Friday (11/4) and continuing through until 11:59pm on Saturday. There are even some students who are planning on starting midday Saturday and playing through into Sunday. Concordia Esports' main Twitch account will be hosting different players throughout the day, but all individual streams can be found here, by going to the roster toward the bottom of the page. Each person has their own fundraising goals and incentives, but the money all gets pooled together as one donation from Concordia Esports.

Donations are being accepted now, and will go through the end of 2022.
