Men's Tennis drops match at Adrian

(Adrian, MI) Concordia Men's Tennis stayed on the road for a match at Adrian College Saturday morning. The Cardinals fell to the Bulldogs 8-1 in the match.

 

Adrian took all three doubles matchups, with Andrew Dobbs and Jordan Conn taking four games in #1 Doubles.  

 

In singles action, the Cardinals were able to take at least one game in each match, but ultimately winning just one point. Andrew Dobbs and Logan Fuller took one game each in #1 and #6 Singles, while Jordan Conn and Ethan Hiltz both took two games in the #3 and #4 slots. Benjamin King sent his #2 Singles match into a third tiebreaker set, but came just short of winning a point for the Cards. It was Isaac Haley in the #5 slot that secured Concordia's sole point, with a (4-6, 6-1, 10-4) comeback win.

 

Next up for the Cardinals will be their first home match of the season, when they host Cedarville on Friday, September 22nd. The match is set to start at 1 PM at the Racquet Club of Ann Arbor.
