Men's Tennis comes up short at Albion

(Albion, MI) Concordia Men's Tennis traveled to Albion for an out of conference match against the Britons. The Cardinals came up short, losing 2-7 in the match.

 

Albion took the top two Doubles matches with Andrew Dobbs and Jordan Conn falling 5-8 and Benjamin King and Edward Lupus losing 3-8. Isaac Haley and Logan Fuller won their #3 Doubles match with an 8-5 victory.

 

Jordan Conn won the lone singles match for the Cardinals with a (6-2, 6-3) result in the #4 slot. In the fifth position, Isaac Haley came close ultimately falling to his Briton's opponent in the (4-6, 6-4, 13-10). Andrew Dobbs was close to taking his first set, but lost (5-7, 1-6) in the #3 slot. Edward Lupus took four games in the top Singles position, Benjamin King came away with one game in #2 Singles, and Ethan Hiltz took five games in #6 Singles, with all three falling short of earning a point for the Cardinals in the end.

 

The Cardinals will take on Alma and Anderson next Saturday, October 14th, with both matches taking place at Alma.
