Women's Tennis wraps up season with 6-1 win against the Comets

(Ann Arbor, MI) Concordia Women's Tennis concluded their season with a match against Olivet on Saturday. The Cardinals hosted the Comets at the Liberty Athletic Club and only dropped one point in their 6-1 victory.

 

In doubles action, the Cardinals earned the point, winning two of the matches. Both Elle Fritcha and Isabella Macquet in the top match as well as Amelia Black and Jacey Powell in the third match swept their Comet opponents. Jadyn Hackmann and Hollie Johnson fell 2-6 in the second slot.

 

Amelia Black swept the sixth singles match to earn the Cardinals a point. Jules Meads and Hollie Johnson won their matches, dropping just two and three games respectively. Elle Fritcha won her second match (6-3, 6-1), while Isabella Macquet took the top match (6-2, 6-3). Savannah Borrego fell in a closely contested three set match (6-4, 5-7, 3-6).
