(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia Cardinals Women's Golf team will open their fall season this week, September 3-4, at the LTU Collegiate Kickoff at the Crystal Mountain Golf Course in Thompsonville, Michigan.
The Cardinals are under new direction this season as Head Coach Dalton Steigler will enter his first season in charge of the program. Stiegler is a CUAA graduate and was a member of the golf team from 2020-2022.

The Cardinals will return three members from last year's team Amelia Black, Callie Wabeke, and Rachel Yuhas all are back, while two newcomers are on the team Shaylin LeBlanc and Emma Shore.
Wabeke recorded a team-low average of 91.53 over her 15 rounds played. Yuhas was second on the team with an average of 93.50 and Black was next with a 96.94 average.
Head Coach Dalton Steigler is joined by Assisant Coach Dan Brieschke.

The team saw multiple scores enter the top-10 record books with each of the top 1-round, 2-round, and 3-round team scores falling.
Individually, Wabeke scored the second lowest 1-round score with an 80, while Yuhas scored an 81.
2024 FALL SCHEDULE
The Cardinals will take part in four tournaments this fall as they kick off the season at the LTU Collegiate Kickoff this week. The Cardinals will then travel to London, Kentucky for the Patriot Invitational on September 14-15.
The WHAC Fall Preview is next on the calendar on September 23 and 24 which will be held at the Stonehedge North Golf Club in Augusta, Michigan. The fall season will come to an end at the Hornet Fall Invitational at the Kalamazoo Country Club in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 21.
As announced on June 13th by CUWAA President Erik Ankerberg, the 2024-25 Academic Year will serve as the final season for CUAA Athletics.
