(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has announced its weekly Player of the Week for Women's Golf. Concordia Cardinals Shaylin LeBlanc earned the first honors of her career following her Cardinal debut at the LTU Collegiate Kickoff.
LeBlanc, a freshman from South Lyon, Michigan, finished in 15th place at last week's tourney, shooting a 265 overall score and 83-95-87 respectively in the rounds played. Both marks are tied for the fourth-lowest 1-round (83) and 3-round (265) in program history.
This is the first Women's Golf Player of the Week honor in program history.
The Cardinals are back in action this weekend when they travel to the Patriot Invitational in London, Kentucky on September 14 and 15.
