(Kansas City, MO) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) over 11,000 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and over 2,000 NAIA Scholar Teams as a part of its annual NAIA National Awards Day on Wednesday. The day recognizes the association's highest individual honors and achievements of NAIA student-athletes, administrators and coaches.
Student-athletes were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for having a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point averages and attending the college for at least two full years. Meanwhile, teams earned the NAIA Scholar Team award for having at least a collective 3.0 grade point average of all members that competed during the 2020-21 academic year.
Concordia had 10 Scholar Teams and 56 Scholar-Athletes honored by the NAIA on Wednesday for their accomplishments in the classroom.
