STUNT earns highest program score

(Olivet, MI) The CUAA STUNT team took on D3 Olivet Wednesday evening, resulting in a 10-4 loss. However, the Cards were able to score their first points on the season and earn their highest meet score in program history.

Concordia remained scoreless heading into the second half but tied Olivet in Jumps and Tumbling rounds two and four, earning them their first two points. In the 4th quarter the cards tied Olivet again in the second round.

"Each week this young program gets stronger, learns more, and improves," said Cardinal head coach Kate Edge.

Concordia's power players for this meet were Julia Griggs-Hendrix, Samantha Smith, Ashley Hannah and Paige Langley.

The STUNT team returns to action on Saturday with a conference match up against Ashland and then open play verse Central Michigan. The competition will be in the Cardinal Fieldhouse for their first home comp in program history.
