STUNT hosts first home meet in program history

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia STUNT team hosted an array of teams on Saturday in their first ever home meet. This day of games included a non-conference match up against Central Michigan University and a conference game against Ashland University. On this senior night the Cardinals honored the two STUNT seniors, Grace Hasley and Julia Griggs-Hendrix.

In the first game against CMU, the Cardinals fought hard and but ended up losing 21-2. This competition had 4 players leading in power point. Julia Griggs-Hendrix, Ashley Hannah, Bella Gambino, and Sam Smith each had 5 power points.

The second match was close the first half but Ashland pulled ahead in the second half. The match ended Ashland 17, Cardinals 6. This was a record high total points for the Cardinals team. Julia Griggs-Hendrix lead the team in power points for a career high of 12 points.

Coach Whitney Savage had this to say about the team, "Their goals were to have energy throughout both games and have clean routines. They really delivered and I am so proud of what they put out there."
