Kyle Hebner earns second WHAC Player of the Week of the season

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced on Monday afternoon that Concordia University Men's Hockey player Kyle Hebner has earned WHAC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of January 15-21.

Hebner, a senior from Harbor Springs, Michigan, recorded three goals and two assists throughout the Cardinals 2-1 week. In Friday's 9-0 win against Rochester, Hebner recorded the first goal of the game, the eventual game-winner, as well as the sixth of the game for CUAA. His assists came on the second and fifth goals of the game. The Saturday game saw him pick up the final goal of the game.

This is the second time Hebner has won the award this season as he won back in October as well. Other Cardinals to have won the award this season are McCarthy Clark and Derek Hebner, both on the defensive side.

The Cardinals will play host to #19 Indiana Tech on Friday, January 26 with an 8:30 PM puck drop.
