Dance competes at first day of NAIA National Championship

(Ypsilanti, MI) The Concordia Dance Team competed in the preliminary round of their second consecutive NAIA National Championship. Concordia earned a host berth to the event, recording program high scores throughout the season. The Cardinals posted a score higher than their season average with a 73.93 which put them in 11th place after the first round.

 

Teams compete for the NAIA Championship with each team performing two routines. Friday's first routine will be the preliminary round which will count toward 25% of the overall score. Saturday's final round score will make up 75% of the overall score. In the event of a tie, the score from finals will be used to break the tie.

 

The Cardinals will be performing in the final round Saturday at ­­­2:40 PM.
