(Ypsilanti, MI) The Concordia Dance Team competed in the preliminary round of their second consecutive NAIA National Championship. Concordia earned a host berth to the event, recording program high scores throughout the season. The Cardinals posted a score higher than their season average with a 73.93 which put them in 11^th place after the first round.

Teams compete for the NAIA Championship with each team performing two routines. Friday's first routine will be the preliminary round which will count toward 25% of the overall score. Saturday's final round score will make up 75% of the overall score. In the event of a tie, the score from finals will be used to break the tie.

The Cardinals will be performing in the final round Saturday at ­­­2:40 PM.
