Dance concludes season at NAIA National Championships

(Ypsilanti, MI) - The Concordia Dance Team finished their season with the final round of the NAIA National Championship on Saturday afternoon. Concordia ended up finishing with an overall score of 75.23.

 

The Cardinals scored 75.67 in the final round, which makes up 75% of the final score, with 25% coming from the preliminary round. Concordia saw improvement in the Jazz section and the Staging and Transitions sections. 

 

"I am very proud of this team," said Head Coach Beth Strom. "We had two strong performances and increased our score from prelims to finals. With a challenging season, what a great way to fight and finish."

 

Saint Ambrose took home the title for the second straight with a score of 92.49, Midland with a 92.13, and Baker at 88.66. 

 

The Cardinals served as the host of the championship in 2024 in partnership with the Ann Arbor Sports Commission at the EMU George Gervin GameAbove Center.
