James Olson recognized by NCCAA in #KingChasing series

The National Christian College Association recently announced their second series of #KingChasing. James Olson from the men's tennis team was featured in the second series as he was able to share encouragement and inspiration during this time.

The NCCAA's goal for the #KingChasing series was to highlight student-athletes from each spring sport (Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, M/W Track, M/W Tennis). Student-athletes were given three questions to answer that focus on what they are learning during this time, how they are growing in their faith and trust in the Lord, and advice they have for other student athletes.

Olson is sophomore on the Cardinal tennis team and is an accounting major within the Haab School of Business. Playing often in the one or two slot for Concordia, Olson has been able to find success against top competition. Last season, Olson was named 2nd Team All-Conference for his performance in the WHAC as a freshman. Olson got off to a strong start in the shortened 2019-20 season, earning four wins in singles play and two wins in doubles.

Olson joins Billy Blair as the second Cardinal to be recognized by the NCCAA in their #KingChasing series.

The NCCAA will continue to release the #KingChasing series throughout the remaining weeks of the semester with the opportunity for more Concordia spring sport student-athletes to be featured. For more information regarding the NCCAA's student spotlight series click here.
