Men's Tennis downed at Indiana Tech

(Fort Wayne, IN) Concordia Men's Tennis travelled down to Indiana Tech Friday afternoon for a WHAC matchup against the Warriors. Indiana Tech came out strong and swept the Cardinals 7-0 in the match.

 

The Warriors earned the doubles point winning all three matches. Concordia kept it the closest in the third slot where Ethan Hiltz and Edward Lupas took four games. Both Andrew Dobbs and Jordan Conn in #1 Doubles as well as Benjamin King and Logan Fuller in #2 Doubles fell 6-1 in their respective matches.  

 

Indiana Tech won each of the six singles matches to complete the sweep. The Cardinals put up a fight, especially in the bottom three singles matches. In #4 Singles Edward Lupas bounced back in his second set, ultimately falling (6-1, 7-5). Ethan Hiltz took five games in #5 Singles while Logan Fuller won seven games in the #6 slot, going down (6-3, 6-4). Jordan Conn took a pair of games in #3 Singles. Both Benjamin King and Andrew Dobbs were swept in the top two Singles matches of the day.

 

Concordia will be at home Saturday morning for another WHAC contest, this time against Aquinas. The match is set for 10:00 AM at the Liberty Athletic Club.
