Men's Tennis knocked out of WHAC Tournament by Indiana Tech

(Fort Wayne, IN) Concordia Men's Tennis rounded out their season as a team at the WHAC Tournament on Monday afternoon. As the #7 seed, the Cardinals travelled to #4 Indiana Tech for the first round. The Warriors came out strong and earned the 4-0 victory to advance, eliminating the Cardinals.

 

Indiana Tech took two of the doubles matches to earn the doubles point. The Warriors won the third match by default, while Andrew Dobbs and Jordan Conn fell in the second match 6-1. Benjamin King and Edward Lupas were down 4-1 when their match was suspended after Indiana Tech clinched the point.

 

The Warriors took the sixth singles match by default, swept Andrew Dobbs in the second match, and took all but one game against Edward Lupas in the fourth match to get the three points they needed to advance. In matches that did not finish Benjamin King took a game in the top match, Jordan Conn had a pair of games in the third slot, and Logan Fuller was being swept in the fifth match.

 

The Cardinals will close out their season at the Olivet Singles Invitational on Saturday, April 27th.
