(Ashland, OH) The Cards opened play at Ashland University verse Tiffin, with a record-breaking high score in their 19-3 win. In STUNT a max scoring regulation game is 24 points. The ladies of STUNT dominated the first quarter earning points in each call of the Partner Stunts routines.

Reflecting on the game Head Coach, Kate Edge says, "coming back from spring break the team has been focusing on clean up and execution. We were excited to add our female athletes who are now able to cross over from our co-ed team. This helps fill out our roster and their skills support the already strong routines and competition we had happening."

Game one included Power Players #24 Eunique Robinson (20 pts), #11 Zoe Genette (17 pts), and #37 Marissa Sullivan (17 pts). With this high scoring game individual players hit the mark for Star Players. These are the top-ranking athletes in specific quarter skills sets. According to Edge, "In order to earn Star Player status for a skill set an athlete must accumulate points that place them well above the overall average of the team. I was excited to see some of our athletes do just that. This is a chance to acknowledge those players that help the team with their specialty skills."

In the second match of the day the Cards came through with a win verse Ursuline 16-4. This brings the Cards to a 3-3 record on the year. A game highlight was earning points in all the Jumps and Tumbling routines for the 3rd quarter.
