(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia Men's Tennis team continued WHAC play this Friday as they hosted the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils at Greenhills High School. The Cardinals fell to Lawrence Tech 5-0, unable to finish #1 singles and doubles due to the rain.
Tristian Waechter took a game in each of his sets in #2 singles versus Alexander Tammaro. Ethan Szabados won a game in #3 singles, and Ethan Hiltz and Nick Althouse fell (6-0, 6-0) in #4 and #5 singles respectively. Lawrence Tech gained another point in #6 singles with a Concordia forfeit.
The tennis team was slated to play Franklin and Manchester this weekend, but both games were canceled due to rain and are yet to be rescheduled. The men's team will be facing Cornerstone on Saturday, April 2nd, in Grand Rapids. The match is set to begin at 5:00 PM at the Grand Rapids Racquet Club.
