Men's Tennis loses conference matches at Aquinas and Lourdes

The Concordia Men's Tennis Team competed in a pair of conference matches against Aquinas and Lourdes with both matches on the road. The Cardinals lost both 7-0, but were able to take points away from their competition.

 

The Cardinals competed in Grand Rapids on Friday with a match at Aquinas. Tristan Waechter took two games in the second set of his #3 Singles match. Ethan Hiltz also took a pair of games in the first set of his #4 Singles match.

 

In Monday's matchup versus Lourdes it was Ethan Hiltz and Tristan Waechter who forced the #2 Doubles match to go into a tiebreaker, narrowly falling to their opponent. In singles, every Cardinal was able to take at least on game against their opponent. Frank Melcher went (3-6, 3-6) in #1 Singles, while Ethan Hiltz took two games in each set in the #2 slot. Ethan Szabados took a game followed by Waechter with four and Nick Althouse with 2 in the fifth slot.
