Men's Tennis falls to WHAC Champion UNOH at home

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia Men's Tennis team took to the courts for their final home match of the season Friday morning. They took on the WHAC leading, and eventual regular season champion, University of Northwestern Ohio. The Racers came into the match ranked 8th in the NAIA, and lived up to their billing, sweeping the Cardinals 7-0.

 

The Racers won the doubles point without dropping a game in the process. In singles, Tristan Waechter and Nick Althouse were each able to win a game in the second set of their singles match.

 

The Cardinals will now advance to the WHAC playoffs on Friday, April 29th, where they are set to face second seeded Indiana Tech. The game will take place at Gainey Tennis Courts in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with first serve set for 1:30 PM.
