(South Bend, IN) – The Men's Cross Country team competed in the Bethel Invitational hosted at St. Patrick's County Park in South Bend, Indiana. The team was once again comprised of three athletes.

Luke Bentz (Senior; Fort Wayne, IN) was the top-finishing Cardinal in 30:46. Dominic Catallo (Sophomore; Westland, MI) finished second on the team at 32:31. Freshman Eric Breidert (Wenatchee, WA) was the third and final finisher on the day with a time of 33:42.

"I thought the guys pushed through, even when they weren't feeling the greatest. We had a tough week of training, mixed with a nice sand hill on the course, and above average temps made it a challenging day.

The Cardinals will be back in action on Saturday, October 26, at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids for the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational, which is hosted by Aquinas College.
