Women's Golf sees three career-lows at LTU Shootout at Stonehenge

(Agusta, MI) - The Concordia Cardinals women's golf team hit the course for the second time in less than a week, this time traveling to Agusta, Michigan for the LTU Shootout at Stonehenge. All three Cardinals saw improvement at the tournament as they were all able to record career lows. 

 

The Cardinals had three golfers at the event as Amelia Black, Rachel Yuhas and Lilly Alaspa all competed. Yuhas was able to take the lead this time for the Cardinals hitting a two-day score of 184, with a 91 low score. Black was the next finisher as she tallied a score of 203, with a low of 97. Alaspa ended with a two-day score of 218, coming with a low of 108. Alaspa was also able to chip in for birdie from about 60 yards out. 

 

Yuhas was able to add her name to the program's record books as she tallied the sixth-lowest score in program history with a score of 184. 

 

University of Northwestern Ohio won the team event with a total score of 619 which bested Indiana Tech by 36 shots. The top of the individual race saw UNOH's Haleigh Gray with her score of 153 which bested the second-place finishers by one shot. 

 

The Cardinal's final event of the season will be the WHAC Championship at this same course on April 25th and 26th.
