The Concordia Women's Tennis Team will start their season September 9th at Olivet College. Head Coach Kaylee Tucker will begin her fifth season with the team.
Roster Breakdown
Elle Fritcha is the only senior this year. Amelia Black, Jaydn Hackmann, Hollie Johnson, Sydney Orkisz, and Makayla Steinmetz are the team's juniors. The Cardinal sophomores are Melanie Foucha and Jorja Vartoogian. The team has 8 freshman this year, Savannah Borrego, Anna Butler, Elizabeth Juncaj, Nicole Keller, Isabella Macquet, Jules Meads, Penda Ndiaye, and Monicah Ondiek.
2022-23 Season Highlights
The team won a few games last year. Elle Fritcha led the team in wins in both singles and doubles. Hollie Johnson and Jorja Vartoogian were also leaders. Steinmetz, Black, Hackmann and Orkisz also got a few wins for the team. Fritcha was named WHAC Champions of Character. The WHAC also announced Fritcha to the All–Academic team.
2023 Fall Schedule
The Cardinals have their first matches at Olivet College on September 9th. The following Saturday they will be at Adrian. September 22nd there will be a home game at Chippewa Racquet Club against Cedarville. In October, on the 6th they will compete at home against Indiana Southeast. Then on the 7th they'll be at Albion. The final matches of the fall season will be on the 14th at Alma.
