Women's Tennis taken down at Indiana Tech

(Fort Wayne, IN) Concordia Women's Tennis travelled down to Indiana Tech Friday afternoon for a WHAC matchup against the Warriors. Indiana Tech came out strong and swept the Cardinals 7-0 in the match.

 

The Warriors earned the doubles point while dropping just one game in the three matches. Concordia's Hollie Johnson and Jadyn Hackmann took the lone game in #2 Doubles. Elle Fritcha and Isabella Macquet in the top slot, as well as Amelia Black and Jacey Powell in the third slot were both swept by Indiana Tech.

 

The Cardinals were unable to win a set in singles play, but did take games in almost every match. Elle Fritcha took the most games with 4 in #2 Singles. Jules Meads and Jacey Powell both took three games in #4 and #5 Singles respectively. In #1 and #6 Singles Isabella Macquet and Jadyn Hackmann both won a game, while Hollie Johnson was swept in the #3 slot.

 

Concordia will be at home Saturday morning for another WHAC contest, this time against Aquinas. The match is set for 10:00 AM at the Liberty Athletic Club.
