Concordia Athletics announces its 2024 Hall of Fame Class

(Ann Arbor, MI) - On April 26th, 2024 Concordia University Ann Arbor Athletics will host its Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This year, four individuals will be enshrined in the Concordia Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the 13th class of inductees.

 

"We are very excited to induct this year's Hall of Fame class into the Concordia University Athletic Hall of Fame," said Athletic Director Lonnie Pries. "Our inductees achieved numerous accomplishments, all in different athletic programs here at CUAA. It will be a special evening for these alumni as we welcome them back to campus to honor their special contributions to our university."

 

This year's Hall of Fame class includes four individuals whose efforts and achievements have significantly impacted Concordia athletics on and off the playing field. 

 

  • Joel Neumeyer ('96) - Men's Soccer - Neumeyer is a two-time member of the WHAC All-Conference team in back-to-back seasons. 

  • Kim Dade ('17) - Competitive Cheer - The first Competitive Cheer member in the Hall of Fame, Dade was a two-time NAIA All-American and the WHAC Player of the Year in 2016. 

  • Nicholas Holshoe ('17) - Football - A 2015 MSFA Mideast First Team member in his Junior season, he is the Cardinals' All-Time leader in Interceptions, Pass Break-ups, and Recovered Fumbles. 

  • Stephanie Johnston ('18) - Women's Cross Country / Women's Track & Field - Concordia's first-ever NAIA Champion, Johnston took home a first-place finish in the Marathon at the 2018 Track & Field Championships. Her 8 NAIA All-American awards is tops in CUAA history. 

 

The ceremony will occur on Friday, April 26th, in the Black Box of the Kreft Fine Arts Center at 5:00 PM. Dinner is included and tickets are $35 a person. Sales will end on Friday, April 12th.
