Cheer takes first place at The America's Cheerleading Cup Championship presented by Nfinity

(Orlando, FL) Concordia Cheer headed south for The America's Cheerleading Cup Championship presented by Nfinity on Saturday evening. Hosted at Universal Studios, the Cards competed in the NAIA division and took first place with a score of 83.75.

 

Concordia finished over 10 points ahead of the second place Saints from Siena Heights, who finished with a score of 73.24. Hastings rounded out the group with a 65.52.

 

The Cards improved their score from the previous weekend by over three points, with their biggest improvements coming in partner/group stunts and basket tosses. They received their highest marks in jumps and overall difficulty and limited their deductions to just half a point.

The Cardinals will remain at home this weekend to host the second WHAC competition of the season on Saturday, February 15. The comp is set to begin at 2:00 PM in the Cardinal Fieldhouse.
