(Ypsilanti, MI) - The Concordia Cheer team rounded out their season on the final day of the NAIA National Championships. The Cardinals came into Saturday in 15th place following the preliminary round, and added over 11 points to their final-round performance, springing them into 11th place. Concordia finished the competition with a total score of 85.23

The Cardinals scored an 88.00 in the final round, which makes up 75% of the final score, with 25% coming from the preliminary round. The deduction free final round helped them finish the day with an overall score of 85.23 which jettisoned the Cardinals past Lourdes, Florida Memorial, Tennessee Southern, and Grand View into 11th place.

"We asked them to show up one last time for themselves and they delivered," said Head Coach Kate Edge. "There was nothing more they could have done and gave an amazing season ending performance."

Taking home their third straight title was Saint Ambrose with a score of 97.95, followed by Xavier with a score of 97.39, and then Dickinson State with a 96.38.

The Cardinals served as the host of the championship in 2025 in partnership with the Ann Arbor Sports Commission at the EMU George Gervin GameAbove Center.
