(Livonia, MI) The Concordia Dance Team competed at the Madonna Madness on Saturday. The Cardinals put up a season high score, nearly topping the program record with 83.37, earning them second place at the event.
The Cardinals finished just 0.06 behind the Saints, who won the competition with a score of 83.43. Madonna also broke the 80-point threshold with a score of 80.27, with Lourdes and Campbellsville rounded out the scores with 77.87 and 74.07 respectively.
"This team continues to impress me with how they have leveled up each performance," said head coach Beth Strom. "We faced some adversity this week, but continued to work on improving uniformity and added some additional dynamics to the routine. We are very proud of our performance today and look forward to next week's home competition."
The Cardinals will be at home on Saturday, February 15th, with the dance competition set to begin at 11:00 AM.
