Dance takes second straight first place at Lourdes Invite

(Sylvania, OH) The Concordia Dance Team took to the road Sunday afternoon for their last regular season competition of the season. The Cardinals put up their second highest score of the season, earning them first place out of the four teams in attendance.

 

The Cardinals received the highest marks of the comp with an 86.93. That was over five points ahead of the second place Crusaders from Madonna who had an 81.10. Lourdes and Siena Heights were close behind with 80.30 and 79.43 respectively.

"The team worked hard this week, came focused on our goals for today's performance, and their unity really showcased on the floor," said Head Coach Beth Strom. "We could not be happier with this ending for our last regular season competition and look forward to getting ready for the WHAC championship."

 

CDT will next be in action for the WHAC Championship on Friday, March 7th, hosted by Aquinas.
