Women's Golf rounds out Fall season at Lourdes Invitational

(Sylvania, OH) - The Concordia Cardinals Women's Golf team rounded out their Fall 2022 schedule on Monday as they headed south for the Lourdes Invitational at the Sylvania Country Club in Ohio. The team would finish in ninth place in the tournament while shooting a score of 409. 

 

CARDINAL SCORES

Callie Wabeke would be the top finisher for the Cardinals at the Invitational by shooting a score of 97 and finishing in 33rd place. Lilly Alaspa, Rachel Yuhas, and Amelia Black would all finish back-to-back in the standings by shooting a 103, 104, and 105 respectively. The final golfer of the day for the Cardinals was Claire McMaster hitting a 197.

 

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONS

Ohio Northern would wind up coming away with the team win by a narrow margin. They would nearly beat Ohio Dominican by one stroke and hit a 335. 

 

Rio Grande's Quirine ter Meulen took first place in the individual standings after shooting a 78. 

 

NEXT UP

The Cardinals finished up their fall season yesterday and will await the spring season schedule as that is yet to be determined.
