(Ann Arbor, MI) The NAIA has announced its All-American honorees for the 2015 women's soccer season and it includes sophomore Julia Palushaj (SO/Northville, MI) of Concordia University. Palushaj was selected as a member of the Honorable Mention All-American team. This is the first All-American selection for the Concordia women's soccer program in school history. Palushaj played an instrumental role in another successful season for the Cardinals leading the team to an overall record of 10-8-1 and 6-5 in the WHAC.

After a record breaking freshman campaign, Palushaj continued to set the bar higher for herself and the team. Palushaj broke her own school record with 17 goals this season (14 in 2014) and with 10 (7 in 2014) coming during conference play. Additionally, Palushaj once again remained among the conference leaders in nearly every offensive statistical category. Palushaj tied for 2nd in total goals, 3rd in points (35), and 4th in shots (76).

As a result of impressive statistical performances which led to the team's success this year, the WHAC conference recognized Palushaj as Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, October 26th when she registered four goals and eight total points in two games. For the second consecutive season, Palushaj received league honors by being named to the WHAC All-Conference First Team at the conclusion of the year,
