CUAA Inks Grace Brown From Bedford High School

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia Women's Soccer program is thrilled to announce the addition of Grace Brown to the fall 2016 roster. Grace is a goalkeeper who played her high school soccer at Bedford High School. There she started three seasons in the net for the varsity team, only missing one season due to injury. Grace broke the Bedford High School single-season saves record as a freshman and then went on to break her own record again as a junior. The goalkeeper also was a four-year starter on her club team, Metro.

Grace is the daughter of Jolenna and Chad Short and was born in Missouri before moving to Michigan. She intends on studying in the Athletic Training program while at CUAA.

"We are excited to add Grace to the team," Coach Steve Shelton commented. "She fits the kind of person we look for in Cardinals and has shown she can fight through adversity even when missing a full season to injury. She will be another key to a great incoming class."
