(Oliver, MI) - The Men's Cross Country team opened their 2023 season at the Comet Open hosted by Olivet University in Charlotte, MI on Friday, September 1. The team ended up finishing 6 overall with a team score of 153 points. 

The team was led by two freshmen as Micah Bauer (Traverse City, MI) finished 10th overall with a time of 16:09 and Nathan Milliman (Ann Arbor, MI) finished 34th overall in a time of 17:03. Senior Theodore Eising(Royal Oak, MI) finished 40th overall with a time of 17:16. Junior Luke Bentz (Fort Wayne, IN) finished 46th overall in 17:36 and Sophomore Adam Fisch (Caro, MI) finished in 18:17. Freshman Dominic Catallo made his debut with a time of 19:02 and Senior Jared Stiver finished in 21:36. 

The team will have some time rest and improve before making their switch to an 8k at the Cardinal Invite on campus on Friday, September 15.
