(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their Cross Country Runners of the Week and Concordia Cardinals freshman runner, Micah Bauer took home the second honors of his young Cardinal career. 

Bauer, a freshman from Traverse City, Michigan, set a new personal record in the 8KM race, while also moving up the program's all-time list. Bauer ran a 26:01 at the Bethel Invitational which now stands as the third-fastest time in program history. He finished in 16th place at the event as well. 

The Cardinals will next compete at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 21.
