(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their weekly players of the week and Concordia Cardinal's Women's Soccer goalkeeper Hayley Jacobson was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Jacobson, a senior from Howell, Michigan recorded her first win of the season with a 10-save effort on Wednesday against Defiance. The Cardinal keeper is tied for the lead in the NAIA with 130 saves.

This is the first WHAC Defensive Player of the Week honor for Jacobson, as she has previously taken home three NCCAA weekly awards.  

Jacobson and the Cardinals are back in action when they travel to Lourdes on Wednesday night for a 7 PM kickoff.
