Women's Soccer falls on the road at Indiana Tech

(Fort Wayne, IN) - Concordia women's soccer traveled to Indiana Tech this afternoon for a WHAC contest. The Cardinals played hard but fell 6-0 to the Warriors who are above .500 in conference play.

Katelyn Aiello had a shot go wide at the 25 minute mark in the first half when it was still 0-0. The Warriors did not find the back of the net for over 35 minutes, but they were able to score twice in the last ten minutes of the first half.

The Cardinals started off with an offensive push in the first half, but it was a great save by Indiana Tech's goalie that kept the Warriors' shutout alive. Indiana Tech then flipped the switch and scored three goals in five minutes to make the score 5-0. Hayley Jacobson made some great saves in the second half, bringing her season total to 144 saves. The Warriors found the back of the net one more time in the final minute, which brought the final score to 6-0.

The Cardinals will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon at #4 Aquinas.
