Men's Indoor Track & Field competes at NCCAA National Championships

(Cedarville, OH) Concordia men's track and field competed Friday and Saturday at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships in Cedarville, OH, hosted by Cedarville University. The NCCAA is comprised of NCAA DII, DIII and NAIA schools. 

 

Senior Richard Branch (Detroit, MI) took 9th place in the shot put where he threw 12.80m and also competed weight throw with a toss of 11.72m (38'5"). Fellow thrower and junior Zachary Belinsky (Beulah, MI) also competed in both throwing events,  throwing 12.33m (40'5") in the weight throw and 11.87m (38'11 1/2") in the shot put. Rounding out the field events was senior Zachary Yoder (Mt. Pleasant, MI), who competed in the men's high jump. 

 

On the track, senior Kash Warren (Lorain, OH) ran in both the 60m dash and 200m sprints. Warren ran 7.26 and 23.44. respectively.

 

Warren also anchored the 4x400 relay to a 9th place finish. Joining Warren in the relay was Logan Hay (Houston, TX), Andrew Wiemer (Bratenhal, ID) and Luke Bentz (Fort Wayne, IN). The quartet clocked a time of 3:42.87.
