Cross Country and Track & Field Announce 2021-22 Recruiting Class

 

(Ann Arbor, MI) - Concordia University Ann Arbor Cross Country and Track & Field kicks off the 2021 fall season with a strong recruiting class. The coaching staff is extremely excited about the program's future with the addition of these new Cardinals as they look to continue to elevate the program to new heights.

"We are beyond excited to get back to work with these teams," said Track & Field Head Coach Andrew Tirmenstein. "Through all the changes and adjustments over the last year, we are ready to see what these teams can do with a more 'normal' year. Our staff is committed to making this version of Cardinal Track and Field the best yet."

The program announces signings of 22 student-athletes that will join CUAA Cross Country and Track & Field this fall. The Cardinals continue to expand the team's recruiting field with a roster that now includes athletes from Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, and Vermont.

"I'm excited about the quality people who are on the team this year. I'm looking forward to seeing how our athletes grow both on and off the course," said Cross Country Head Coach Alli Unger. The Cardinals are kicking off the season with a home meet in September followed by 4 other meets before their Conference championships on November 6.
