Women's finish 19th in first event of 2022 at Kegel Collegiate

(Addison, IL) The Concordia women's bowling team were back on the lanes for the first time in a month as they competed at the Kegel Collegiate on both Saturday and Sunday. The Women's team ended the event in 19th place overall.

 

Alyvia Hock was the top individual finisher for the Cardinals as she ended in 41st place knocking down a 979 pins and a high game of 215. Shannon Geiger and Emilee Hughes were the next two finishers for the team knocking out 966 and 955 pins respectively. Gabriella VanHorn finished fourth on the team with 944 pins. Isabell Cooley bowled three games while Amanda Fisher completed the other two as they knocked out 478 and 356 pins respectively. 

 

Mount Mercy University won the team event finishing with 9461 total pins knocked down, while Jenna Williams also from Mount Mercy won the individual event with 1194 pins. 

 

The next time the Cardinals will be back on the lanes is on February 5 when they will compete at the next WHAC Jamboree which will be hosted by Siena Heights.
