Isaac Haley signs with Concordia Golf

(Ann Arbor, MI) Head golf coach Elisabeth Komurka and the Concordia golf program have announced the signing of Isaac Haley from Williamston, Michigan.

Isaac golfed under the direction of Jason Block at Lansing Christian High School where he earned many accolades. Haley was named All-State Honorable Mention, Lansing State Journal All-Area Team, and 2nd Team All-Conference. His team went on to be Regional champions and the State runner-up.

"Isaac has been one of our top and most consistent contributors for the Lansing Christian Varsity Golf Team," said Block. "His determination, accuracy, and work ethic will be a tremendous asset as he looks to play at the next level."

Isaac is the son of Matthew and Victoria and has one sister, Grace. He plans to major in Actuarial Science during his time at Concordia.

Cardinal head coach Elisabeth Komurka is excited to add Haley to the program. "Isaac is a quiet young man who listens closely. This past fall, he joined the guys for time on the range, where we worked on the top of his back swing. Over the winter holiday, Isaac took that feedback and virtually eliminated the issue we had seen. We are excited to have Isaac and his dedication to the game join our team. He should be a strong asset during his time here."

"I chose Concordia," said Isaac, "because of the strong Christian values, the opportunity in earning my preferred degree, and the faith that Coach Komurka showed in me. I look forward to joining the program this fall."
