Men's Golf competes at second LTU Heritage Hill Collegiate

(Shepherdsville, KY) - The Concordia University men's golf team opened up their 2022 spring season this past weekend as they traveled to the second LTU Heritage Hill Collegiate. The Cardinals saw two top-10 scores being posted with both a team score and an individual score crack into the top-10. 

 

Neil Heinlein was the top golfer for the Cardinals at the event as he posted a score of 166, that mark is tied for the 8th best 2-day score in program history. He finished tied for 32nd. Not far behind in 39th place was Joshua Line as he ended three strokes back of Heinlein with a score of 169. The third finisher for Concordia was Dalton Stiegler in 42nd place at 170. 

 

The final two golfers on the team were Travis Lysiak and Gibson Wilke as they recorded scores of 188 and 197 respectively. 

 

Lawrence Tech won the team event posting a score of 607, as everyone on the A team was within the top-10 at the event. Lawrence Tech also claimed the individual title as Liam McEvoy posted an event low of 147. 

 

The Cardinal's next event will be in a week and a half as they will travel to the Lourdes Spring Invitational on April 6th at Legacy by Arthur Hills Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, MI.
