"This was a tough spring. The cold weather made it hard to get after it outside and even resulted in one of our tournaments being canceled. Despite that, the guys put in a lot of hard work this season, said Head Coach Elizabeth Komurka. "I'm so proud of how all five showed at conference: Neil tied his three-round low, Joshua ground it out on the course to post some solid scores, Dalton found some great momentum off the tee but struggled to get putts to drop, Zach posted three consecutive scores in the 80s for the first time, and Travis had a great showing in his first conference appearance."

Two Cardinals were able to enter the record books for a couple of their scores from the Championship. Neil Heinlein entered n for one final time this season as his low score of 76 is tied for the tenth lowest score, while his three-round score of 236 is the second-lowest in program history, being five strokes behind the top score of 231. Dalton Steigler was also able to put his name in the record books as he was able to record the sixth-lowest three-round score in program history with his 247.

Komurka also had this to say about looking forward to next season. "Our momentum is starting to build and we can see that with all the records we have set this season. Now it's time to maintain our focus over the summer and continue moving forward as a program. It will be hard having lost Zach Burk, though they are up to it, our incoming freshman have big shoes to fill with regards to scoring and team presence."

Winning the tournament in a playoff was Lawrence Tech who finished the three rounds tied with Northwestern Ohio, but ended up beating UNOH by three strokes in the playoff. Lawrence Tech has now won the past two WHAC tournament team championships. The individual winner though did come from UNOH as Michael Robson narrowly won the event by one stroke over an LTU player.
